Tea Party tells the overall story of the Tea Party movement, but it is not just a bloodless recitation of facts. It also seeks to build personal relationships between its audience and the Tea Party movement by focusing on particular activists, most of whom seem to be from the Atlanta area, where the director and producers are also located.

It's another of the many BDS initiatives multiplying to support Palestine. In July 2005, a coalition of 171 Palestinian Civil Society organizations created the global movement for "Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel Until it Complies with International Law and Universal Principles of Human Rights" for Occupied Palestine, Israeli Arabs, and Palestinian diaspora refugees. |

Tea Party is a very informative, beautifully crafted, and often inspirational and funny documentary about a growing right-wing political movement that now enjoys more public approval than Barack Obama and the Democratic Party.
There has been significant recent talk, in Europe and Australia, of imposing blocking of objectionable web sites, including revisionist ones. The purpose of this message is to call to your attention one way of circumventing such censorship. It is also a method of concealing your identity from a target web site. It works best if you use the Firefox browser.

If there is absolutely anything you take away from my blog it's this: Spend some time thinking about what's going down in today's world and ask yourself why certain people still keep bringing up some guy, long dead and gone, every five minutes? Compare it to Stalin and Mao, who inflicted far more misery and death in the world. You hardly ever hear anything about these people, for some odd reason.* Why? You can stop reading here if you like, and just stew on that for awhile.

Activism and activists for Palestine have been getting some media attention recently. This is absolutely great news. It is an opportunity that we need to take advantage of, especially since Palestinians themselves are denied space in almost all mainstream mass media. Reflecting on this fact, we at PTT have decided to express some of our observations, thoughts and suggestions in order to enhance the work of all activists, ourselves included. This is a summary of some of the things that we believe are some common activist errors and our proposals for avoiding that errors lead to damage. In the coming weeks we will elaborate on each of these points in essays. We hope that our observations and proposals can be of use for ourselves and for those who commit their time and energy to the Palestinian cause.
Established in 1989, the MA'AN Development Center is "an independent Palestinian development and training institution....work(ing) towards sustainable human development in Palestine" through its various programs. On October 31, it released a publication on the Palestinian BDS campaign titled, "Boycott, Divestment, & Sanctions: Lessons learned in effective solidarity."
Its mission statement says: "Trust is the foundation of the BBC: we are independent, impartial and honest."
