New political alignment: People who believe vs. people who don't

Posted: 08 Jan 2010 01:54 AM PST

john kaminskiWhen the same thing happens repeatedly, for thousands of years, and the results are always negative for the vast majority of people in the world, it's probably a good idea to understand what it actually is.

A new political alignment is forming in the world that recognizes similarities in traits and predicaments that previously have been obscured by looking at the world in terms of states and philosophies. Its conclusions will soon result in an unprecedented peace conference, unique in the annals of history, because it will be called BEFORE the next great war starts, and succeed in preventing it.

Scanning the Abdulmutallab story for more lies

Posted: 07 Jan 2010 11:53 PM PST

jerry mazzaReturning to Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's attempt to blow up a Northwest airliner on Christmas day, let's scan the body of evidence for government lies, the real explosive elements. Let's give Umar a good dose of radiation with the knowledge that first reveals the 80 grams of PETN explosive he carried in his crotch lacked a blasting cap to blow him and the plane away. Instead, lighting with an injection of liquid did nothing but set him on fire. As if no one in the military or intelligence knew that.

Communist Revealed the 'Plan' to Mormon

Posted: 07 Jan 2010 08:17 AM PST

mormon1.jpg

Marion Law, a Mormon, was going door to door "tracting" in Melbourne in 1983, when he met a resident who claimed to be one of the secret leaders of the Communist Party in Australia. This man outlined the Satanic Communist Plan to Law. These are extracts from his account.

I just barely began to explain the gospel and the man said to me, Mr. Law, we have a better plan. And I said, What is your plan?

Then he began to unfold to me this experience that I'm telling you about tonight. But I was unable to leave the chair where I sat. It was as though I was physically bound and I felt as though I was chained. I couldn't move. I couldn't breathe, and he began to unfold this experience to me, a very foreboding feeling. I have felt the presence of evil, I have had the experience of casting out evil spirits myself from a house and I know what that's like and this was the most terrifying thing of my life but anyway as the man began to unfold "this other plan", he said,

Is Anyone Telling Us The Truth?

Posted: 07 Jan 2010 07:42 AM PST

paul craig robertsWhat are we to make of the failed Underwear Bomber plot, the Toothpaste, Shampoo, and Bottled Water Bomber plot, and the Shoe Bomber plot? These blundering and implausible plots to bring down an airliner seem far removed from al-Qaida's expertise in pulling off 9/11.

If we are to believe the U.S. government, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged al-Qaida "mastermind" behind 9/11, outwitted the CIA, the NSA, indeed all 16 U.S. intelligence agencies as well as those of all U.S. allies including Mossad, the National Security Council, NORAD, Air Traffic Control, Airport Security four times on one morning, and Dick Cheney, and with untrained and inexperienced pilots pulled off skilled piloting feats of crashing hijacked airliners into the World Trade Center towers, and the Pentagon, where a battery of state of the art air defenses somehow failed to function.

Hamas squeezed between Iron Dome and steel wall

Gaza's Hamas rulers have suffered back-to-back setbacks with Israel's successful test of a rocket shield and Egypt's push to block smuggling tunnels.

A Jewish American's Evolving View of Israel

Posted: 07 Jan 2010 05:22 AM PST

In an argument about the origins of the Israel-Palestine conflict with a Jewish friend, I mentioned 'Plan D, the secret plans of the Jewish army to expel Palestinians.' My friend thought I was a raving lunatic, spouting a conspiracy theory promoted by anti-Semites.

I didn't used to sound that way. Growing up in Washington, D.C., I attended the Hebrew Academy, a school that my grandfather helped to found and that my father had helped lead. Like other people who attend religious schools, we were taught that we had a special relationship with God and that our group had a higher moral character. As Jews, we learned how we had been an oppressed people. As American Jews, we believed in American and Jewish values of honesty, justice, truth and peace. We took pride in Israel, a democratic country that shared our values and that represented an end to our oppression.
