Life in Lebanon

Posted: 18 Dec 2009 03:07 PM PST

Things seemed to be going well for Lebanon this Christmas season. However..

Surely we should all have known better. It was just too good to last. It seemed to some Americans in Lebanon that nearly all the Lebanese and their political leaders were ready to try to more of less work together for the good of the country. Many even seemed to be getting excited about Christmas. Several of the diverse sects' zaim's (leaders) were seen on TV enjoying attending public lightings of Christmas trees, praising the new unity government and some humming their favorite holiday tunes during family visits to places like the crowded Beirut and City Malls.

Understanding the Bombing of WTC 6

An amazingly callous Netanyahu told the New York Times on 9-11 that the terror attacks were "very good" for U.S.-Israeli relations. His subsequent comments about how Israel was benefiting from 9-11 were made in Hebrew at Bar-Ilan University, a religious Zionist school, and were directed at an audience that is well aware of Israel's involvement in 9-11. These comments were not meant to be translated for worldwide reading (the original article was published in the Hebrew language newspaper Maariv) and should be seen as a sort of public confession in which the leader of the Likud, Israel's right-wing entremist movement, sought to rationalize the Israeli false-flag terror atrocity on the United States. Joe Lockhart, spokesman for President Bill Clinton, described Netanyahu as "one of the most obnoxious individuals you're going to come into - just a liar and a cheat. He could open his mouth and you could have no confidence that anything that came out of it was the truth." It's high time for an international arrest warrant to be put out for Netanyahu and Ehud Barak to be tried for terrorism and war crimes.

Ordinary Americans need the assistance of Islamabad now more than at any time in the past six decades. That aid lies not in combating "Islamo fascism" but in countering the influence inside the U.S. of Israeli war-planners known for their expertise at provoking extremism.

To grasp what must be done requires a review of three related developments. First is a policy-making legacy from the era of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Second is a little known account of an Israeli attempt to corrupt policy-making in Indonesia, home to the world's largest Muslim population. Third is confirmation that, by its steady growth in influence over the past six decades, Israel is now shaping U.S. policy to advance a Judeo-fascist agenda.

Are YOU The 100th Monkey?

Posted: 18 Dec 2009 10:15 AM PST

In the early 1950's, a group of Japanese scientists observing the behavior of macaque monkeys on the island of Koshima began to notice that a small number of these primates had begun washing their food before eating. As the years of observation went by the scientists began to notice that the number of these monkeys who were washing their food prior to eating was increasing, very slowly, until, for some as yet 'unexplained' reason, when the 100th monkey began to wash his food suddenly all 10,000 monkeys on the island of Koshima began washing theirs too. Or so this 'story' goes.
