The United States of Corporate America: From Democracy to Plutocracy

Rodrigue TREMBLAYOn Tuesday, January 19, the Obama administration got a kick in the pants from the Massachusetts voters when they filled former Senator Ted Kennedy's seat by electing a conservative Republican candidate. The essence of their message was: stop dithering and start governing; stop trying to satisfy the bankers and please the editors of Rupert Murdoch's Wall Street Journal, and start caring for the ordinary people.

What Hath God Wrought: The Transformation of America, 1815-1848

Posted: 21 Jan 2010 10:05 PM PST

In the Oxford History of the United States series, Daniel Walker Howe’s What Hath God Wrought picks up where Gordon S. Wood’s Empire of Liberty left off in the War of 1812. It takes the reader from Andrew Jackson’s victory over the British at the Battle of New Orleans in 1815 to Zachary Taylor’s election as President of the United States in 1848. The period can aptly be described as America’s adolescence. It was also the Golden Age of the White Republic.

The Terrorism Conundrum

Posted: 21 Jan 2010 08:11 PM PST

In the wake of 9/11, almost anything the US government did was accepted uncritically by the public. The Patriot Act was quickly passed, abridging the freedoms that Americans had enjoyed for more than two hundred years with barely a whimper from Congress and the media. George W. Bush declared war on the world, defining his security doctrine as the right of the United States to act preemptively anywhere and at any time against any nation that the White House perceived to be a threat. Bush also declared his global war on terror, committing his administration to intervene using military and intelligence resources wherever his definition of terrorists was to be found. It was a devil’s bargain, reassuring the American people that the government was doing something to make them more secure while at the same time stripping them of many fundamental rights and turning topsy-turvy the international order where acts of war had hitherto been condemned as the gravest of crimes.

Taking an Initial Look at the American Third Position Party

Posted: 21 Jan 2010 07:43 PM PST

The American Third Position Party (A3P) is a new political party that purports to represent the interests of the white American majority. As such, it is a refreshing change from the standard Republicrat/Democan one-party system and gives hope that, finally, the political system can be used to further our specific group interests.

These are early days and one cannot make any definitive conclusions about A3P at this point. However, some progress has been made, and the party has put forth some initial positions on major issues, so it is worthwhile to examine these. Readers are urged to look at A3P’s program and policies. I have no major disagreement with their stance on crime, economy, education, etc. Instead, I would like to take a closer look at two of their major policy initiatives. Emphasis added to all quotes.

Passengers Peg Jew as Terrorist

Posted: 21 Jan 2010 07:40 PM PST

This is the kind of thing we need to have happen more often.  It appears some passengers on a US Airways flight from Laguardia, New York to Louisville, KY pegged a jew as a terrorist for wearing their ridiculous psuedo-religious apparel.  The passengers mistook this jew’s silly little box he was wearing on his head and around his arm as a bomb.

This is great stuff if you think about it.  The passengers on a flight from New York picked out a jew as a terrorist.  Considering the facts that the real terrorists are jews like this example HERE it’s high time people started pointing them out and saying terrorist!  There is no question that these jews are the ones we caught dancing and celebrating the attacks on 911.

Has Obama Lost White America?

patrick buchananIf Republicans will study the returns from Massachusetts, then review the returns from Virginia and New Jersey, light will fall upon the path to victory over Barack Obama in 2012.

Obama defeated John McCain by winning the black vote 24 to one, the Hispanic vote two to one and taking a larger share of the white vote, 44 percent, than did John Kerry or Al Gore. As the white vote was three-fourths of the national turnout, Obama coasted to victory.

How God and the Tea Party Can Save America

Posted: 21 Jan 2010 05:15 PM PST

A generation ago, the Reagan Revolution promised to restore America. That hope was sabotaged when Israel-first president George W. Bush surrounded himself by a host of neo-conservative, Zionist Jews and rashly launched foreign wars to make the Mideast safe for Israel. Claiming to be an evangelical Christian, Bush may have thought he was blessing America by aiding “God’s chosen people.” Instead, military involvement in the Mideast has proven one of the greatest curses America has known. The draining wars in Iraq and Afghanistan empowered Democrats to smash the last vestiges of conservative power, sweeping in Obama’s aggressively pro-homosexual, anti-Christian regime.

Lebanon activists launch campaign targeting Egypt's "wall of shame"

Posted: 21 Jan 2010 03:09 PM PST

The Campaign to Stop the Wall of Shame, a newly-formed activist movement based in Beirut, Lebanon, held a press conference this morning to publicize the Arab Contractors construction company's role in the building of an underground steel wall along the Egypt-Gaza border.

Since June 2006, following the Palestinian legistlative electoins, Israel has imposed nearly total closure of the Gaza Strip -- also enforced by Egypt -- preventing the normal movement of goods and people to and from the territory. A smuggling trade has emerged as a result, via tunnels running between Gaza and Egypt. Egypt's construction of the underground border wall is designed to undermine the tunnel trade, cutting off Palestinians in Gaza from what has become a lifeline.

'Jerusalem is in danger'

Once again, Israel resorts to show trials. Sheikh Raed Salah, a prominent political and religious leader of the Palestinian minority, was sentenced on 13 January by an Israeli court to nine months of imprisonment. This is his second conviction in recent years. This time the allegation was that he assaulted a policeman and obstructed police work during a demonstration at al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem.

The legal jargon notwithstanding, the persecution of Salah is part and parcel of two processes already underway -- the crackdown on Arab leaders and political activists inside Israel and the Israeli campaign for creating facts on the ground in Jerusalem to entrench the illegal occupation.

The Real Jimmy Carter

Posted: 21 Jan 2010 12:00 PM PST

The hottest new trend of 2010, it seems, is making half-baked comparisons between Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama. Writing in Foreign Policy, historian Walter Russell Mead warns us, "[T]he conflicting impulses influencing how [Obama] thinks about the world threaten to tear his presidency apart -- and, in the worst scenario, turn him into a new Jimmy Carter." There are some real similarities between the two U.S. presidents, it's true. Both men came to office following deeply unpopular Republican presidencies and were outsiders with relatively little national security experience. Both had to depend heavily on their staff for policy advice and direction. But beyond these superficial observations, the comparisons are generally based on the conventional wisdom that Carter was an idealistic but weak president.

Stock Market Porn

There is a masturbatory activity even more widespread than pornography, yet it is never identified or treated as a problem.

I'm referring to stock market speculation, whether as a day trader or long term investor.  In these times, it's all gambling.

This gambling addiction is even more widespread than sex addiction. Watching the market talk shows, it's obvious everyone and his dog has a stock portfolio. Housewives and retirees phone in looking for guidance. We are a nation of small time speculators.

As the "bear market rally" seems to be ending, this is a good time to find religion again.

Newsweek magazine recently published an extensive article entitled "Leading the Way,” in which the magazine detailed the lives of twenty “powerful” American women that Newsweek felt best represented the topic of the future of “women and leadership,” in the United States today. What I thought particularly interesting about the article was that the Newsweek cover displayed a “multicultural,” photograph of three women, one Hispanic, one White and the other black,” which is truly illusory given the fact that Jewish women composed the most disproportionate number of those Newsweek sought to portray in the article, and yet, the photograph didn’t include a Jewess on the front page.

Iran and Latin America: The Media States Its Case

Should the United States be concerned about Iran's determined efforts to reach out to Latin America? Or, as was suggestively described in the Economist, by the Ayatollahs' strategy of cozying up to Latin America?

The US continues to see the world as its own business. It gives itself and its allies, most notably Israel, the right to geopolitical maneuverability. Iran, on the other hand, is censured, derided and punished for even its own internal policies, within its own borders. Thus, an Iranian move into Latin America is naturally viewed as unwarranted, uncalled for and most definitely dangerous as far as the US is concerned.

Martin Luther King and Commie Jews

Posted: 19 Jan 2010 10:36 PM PST

Just as Jewish academics lead the scholastic fight for egalitarianism in science and sociology, and Jewish media moguls lead the propaganda fight, the “civil-rights” movement itself found most of its leadership and financial support in the Jewish community.

Almost from the first day of its inception in 1909, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) was the premier organization working for a racially mixed American society. Interestingly enough, the founding board of directors had only one prominent Black, W. E. B. Dubois (who was actually a Mulatto). Most of the board consisted of Jewish Marxist ideologues. The U.S. House of Representatives and many state investigative bodies thoroughly documented the fact that all of the NAACP’s founders were activists in the Communist cause. Dubois even chose Communist Ghana as his burial site.

Israel, Facing the Looking Glass

Posted: 19 Jan 2010 10:27 PM PST

The row that took place recently between Israel and Turkey when the Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon undiplomatically “rebuked” the Turkish ambassador to Israel during a humiliating encounter over a Turkish television program critical of Israel reminds me of the saying, “The (black Israeli) pot calls the (shiny Turkish) kettle black.”

The Turkish ambassador, Ahmet Oguz Celikkol,  was led to a low-level seat in the ambassador’s office while the Israeli deputy foreign minister and a colleague sat on higher chairs. The coffee table between them had only an Israeli flag on it and his remarks were in Hebrew, a language the ambassador does not know.  The Israeli media recorded the event and the photos were circulated world-wide.  After a few tense days, Israel apologized for its outrageous  action – its first backhanded response was rejected by Turkey – only after the Ankara government of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened to take serious countermeasures.

There are obviously multiple stories concerning any act or incident, and any series of acts or incidents, until the overall view becomes large enough that they are distilled into a national or international narrative. These national narratives often serve as rationalizations of not so much the particular occurrence of any given event, but the reasons behind the event, with the reasons stretching from a basic cause and effect (he hit me back first) to the more irrational rationalizations of cosmic mythology.

Macroevolution, Microevolution, & Race

Posted: 19 Jan 2010 09:45 PM PST

andrew hamiltonOrdinarily the study of human evolution focuses on the species as a whole and its supposed descent from prehominid species. But race is preeminently a subspecies phenomenon. Race (as opposed to species) formation and destruction can occur with great rapidity on the microevolutionary as opposed to the macroevolutionary time scale.

The microevolution/macroevolution distinction is important in dealing with most practical issues involving race in an evolutionary context. For a random example of how racial issues that concern us are essentially microevolutionary in nature, glance at Book Review, “Migration and Colonization in Human Microevolution,” Heredity 84 (2000): 619-20. (Book’s Table of Contents and sample pages here.) Another book that tentatively crosses the line into the microevolutionary realm, though not focused on race (possible rapid evolution among Ashkenazi Jews is discussed in one chapter, however) is The 10,000 Year Explosion: How Civilization Accelerated Human Evolution by Gregory Cochran and Henry Harpending (New York: Basic Books, 2009), which was well-reviewed in The Occidental Quarterly.[1]

matthia schangMy recent visit to Gaza as part of the Viva Palestina Aid Convoy led by the indefatigable member of the British parliament and founder of the Respect Party, George Galloway was an eye opener in more ways than one.

Enough has been written about the convoy since it commenced its journey on December 6th 2009, and the wanton destruction unleashed by the Israeli war criminals culminating in the UN sanctioned Goldstone Report. While these coverage of the plight and sufferings of the Palestinians in Gaza following the barbaric invasion in 2008, were necessary and timely, few analysts, if any, dare venture to explain why Israel is so obsessed in its attempts to subjugate the Palestinians in Gaza and why the regimes in the Middle East by their tacit silence closed their eyes and betrayed their ‘Arab brothers’.

In part 1 we learned from Eustace Mullins that this core group of criminal masterminds were in Biblical times called Canaanites, who were run out of the Middle East and became the seafaring Phoenicians, who dominated trade in the Mediterranean for centuries before being obliterated by Rome. The survivors of the Carthage disaster regrouped some centuries later with the Venetian Empire, which controlled the known world through trade and later manipulated the horrific events of the French Revolution.

In the wake of the weird Christmas Day “underwear bomber” incident on Northwest Flight 253, former Homeland Security chief Michael Chertoff, as if on cue, was all over the mainstream media touting whole-body scanners as the answer to America’s airline security problems. Since leaving public office in 2009, Chertoff had co-founded the Chertoff Group, a security and risk-management firm whose clients include a manufacturer of body-imaging screening machines. While some in the media noted this rather commonplace conflict of interest, ignored by all was a far more significant abuse of the American public’s trust.

The autocratic regime of Egyptian leader Mubarak is more and more overtly complicit in aiding and abetting the inhumane strangulation and criminal blockade of the Gaza strip. It has used all kinds of phony pretexts to prevent international aid from reaching Gaza. Under the preposterous disguise of “national security” and “state sovereignty”, it has invented new measures aimed at further tightening Israel’s illegal embargo of the territory, thus contributing to the suffering of an already gravely battered population. Moreover, the Egyptian regime has continuously stoked up the chauvinistic sentiments of its populace in order to further its criminal policies and, more insidiously, disguise its failures of leadership and lack of political legitimacy.

Netanyahu, Hegel and the Jewish Spirit

hegel netanyau“Spirit does not toss itself about in the external play of chance occurrences; on the contrary, it is that which determines history absolutely, and it stands firm against the chance occurrences which it dominates and exploits for its own purpose”. (Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel 1770 – 1831)

PM Netanyahu was quoted by the Israeli Ynet last week saying that the “whole of Israel would be surrounded by a fence eventually”. According to another report he said “there will be no choice but to fence Israel in on all directions”. What Netanyahu means by ‘fence’ and ‘all directions’ may be left open for the time being. However, PM Netanyahu has managed to bring to light an Hegelian interpretation of the notion of ‘Jewish spirit’ as a relentless inclination towards segregation and isolation. It is the tendency to keep oneself apart that determines and shapes Jewish collectivism. Whether it is the Zionists and their walls, the Orthodox and their Kosher universe or even Jewish anti Zionists and their racially segregated miniature activist cells, somehow every form of Jewish political engagement is there to set the Jews apart.

There is, certainly, no disputing the existence of this “perfidy,” for no other group — not the browns or blacks, not the former powers of international Communism, not anyone or anything — is or has been so disposed to breaching the color line, undermining America’s traditional racial hierarchy, or propelling the processes responsible for the present dispossession of the country’s white majority.

The election would mark the third time a peaceful transfer of power from one elected civilian-led government to another has occurred since January 2005. The electoral system guaranteed a healthy connection between candidates and local constituencies, the formation of a manageable half dozen major coalitions represented a good balance of nationalist and ethno-sectarian platforms, and it was clear that a future government could only be formed by forging a diverse cross-sectarian and multi-ethnic alliance. So what's the worry?
